MINISTRIES FOR THE JOURNEY

Journey Kids

Children have a special place in the heart of God. We provide children a fun, safe, and loving environment to learn more about God and His plan for their lives. We offer children's church, VBS, summer camp, and many other exciting activities so that kids have fun while they are learning.

To help make sure your children are safe, each of our workers must pass a background check and be certified in Ministry Safe training.

Rest Area Youth

There are many negative influences for teens today, so at WCC we seek to provide teens with a positive alternative. We offer Sunday school, youth worship on the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month, as well as other fun activities like summer camp, lock-ins and many other fun events to connect and build positive relationships while growing in their faith.

Our goal is to provide our teens a safe environment, so we ensure that all of our youth workers have passed a background check and are Ministry Safe certified.

Young Adult Journey Group

WCC offers young adults a chance to discover a vibrant faith that has real meaning for today's life. They meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month after the morning service for lunch, Bible study and fellowship. Other activities are provided to help them connect with each other and grow spiritually while navigating the modern world.

Women Renewed

WCC offers a vibrant ministry to women of all ages. Journey with us as we participate in Bible studies as well as activities and events which promote friendship, encouragement, spiritual growth, and tools to face life's seasons with love and grace. The current Bible study is based on the book "Wilderness". See the church calendar for the next session. Also, check out the information for our Girls in Pearls Ladies' Luncheon on May 6, and our Refit exercise class each Tuesday night. You never know what they might do next. Maybe axe throwing, again.

Fellaship Men's Group

To help men rise above the challenges they face on this journey and become the spiritual leaders God has called them to be at home, in the church, and in the world, we have Fellaship men's group. Men of all ages are invited to join in on the second Saturday morning each month for a lite breakfast and Christian conversation and every other Thursday night for Bible study. They are currently studying the Gospel of Mark. Other events are planned, including Man Camp, to help men find the friendship, and support they need on this journey.

Primetime Ministries

No matter what stage you are on on life's journey, there is no coasting. The help those 50 and older navigate their journey, we offer Primetime ministries. There are activities such as game night every 2nd Thursday night each month, and Crafty Ladies the 2nd and 4th Tuesday afternoon each month to encourage friendship and support.
