You Are Invited

On Sept. 15, 1983, Woodlands Community Church held it's first service under Pastor Floyd Disney.  So many wonderful things have happened through the ministry of WCC since that beginning.  On Saturday, Sept. 16, and Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023, we will begin a celebration that will last till Nov. 3, 2024 when we commemorate the official organization of the Woodlands Community Church of the Nazarene on Nov. 4, 1984.  

We will kick off our celebration on Saturday night, Sept. 16, with a time of singing at 6:00 pm followed by refreshments and a chance to get reacquainted, and meet new members of the WCC family.  Please contact the church at info@wccnaz.org to sign up to sing or play an instrument.

On Sunday morning, Sept. 17, we will then gather at 10:30 for our special celebration service.  We want to celebrate all of the amazing things God has done through the ministry of this church during the past 40 years.  We also will look together toward the future of this church.  God has started a good work, but He has not finished.  The guest speaker will be Rev. Winston Wilson, pastor of WCC from 1985-1993.  It was he who lead the church to build the first part of our current church facility here on Rush Haven Drive.  After the service, everyone is invited to stay for a potluck dinner and more time to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
