Dear friends & family,
It is my unfortunate responsibility to inform you that our church, Woodlands Community Church will NOT be gathering for worship at our location, starting this Sunday! This decision was made in response to the recent uptick in hospitalizations, a desire to keep our people safe, and a commitment to support the efforts of our community to overcome the virus in our area. We are hopeful that things will change allowing us to once again gather.
Thankfully, we will continue to meet via Facebook online. We will also look to put our services up on YouTube, following the service. Let me remind you, we continue to gather at 11 am, only now it's just online.
While I can appreciate how difficult this is and how frustrating it feels I would remind you that none of this has caught our God unawares. He is still Lord. I would invite you to join me in praying for our church family. We need each other and in these days, that need is only amplified. I am attaching an updated church directory to aid you in staying connected… please use it! We can make a difference in each other's lives, simply by reaching out on the phone or via social media.
I would also remind you that we rely on your faithful giving to remain current on our obligations. We have a mortgage and other bills that don’t go away because of this pandemic… as you know in your own life, the bills keep coming. So let me encourage you to continue to give, either by mailing your tithe to the church, dropping them by, or giving via your online banking or Zelle. Thanks in advance for your sacrificial faithfulness.
As I close, I would remind you that our God is close to the brokenhearted. He is not absent, He is present with us. Let’s determine in these uncertain days to reach out to Him who is our rock.
Still looking forward,
