The missions council of WCC is currently putting together plans for a Memorial Roll Service on August 16. This is a special service where we will add loved ones who have left us to go home to Jesus onto the Memorial Roll for Woodlands Community Church. In this service we will have a chance to remember their lives and how they have touched our lives. Each family will receive a special certificate and the names of these that we place on the roll will be added to the list displayed outside of our sanctuary.
At the same time, their lives will be able to continue to bless others. For each person placed on the Memorial Roll, $75 is contributed to a fund to support the medical needs of missionaries that are not covered by insurance. This can be a great blessing in difficult times.
Below is a list of those who have previously been placed on the Memorial Roll of WCC. Anyone can be added to this list who has attended WCC or is a family member of someone who attended WCC. If you are interested in having a family member placed on this list, please let Pastor Mark know no later than August 1. You will need to submit the $75 to the church and provide a picture and brief biographical information.
